What motivates you to give back to your community?
As a refugee who found a home in the United States, I am driven to give back to my community. My life’s work is dedicated to better bridging the gaps between our communities, a purpose I deeply believe in. I aspire to educate the younger generation and leaders about true leadership and the importance of unity within our communities. My work reflects my journey and dream, and I am committed to supporting other young individuals. My goal is to create a community that is welcoming and safe for everyone.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
If I had the chance to advise my 22-year-old self, I would tell him to focus on discovering his true potential power instead of wasting time on pursuing things that won’t lead him anywhere. I would emphasize that the real purpose in life is to find work that benefits the community, the people he loves, and his own family. This purpose might not be comfortable, but it’s worth stepping out of his comfort zone to fulfill his dreams. And I would remind him that he’s never too young to pursue what he loves.
What would make New Hampshire more attractive to young professionals?
New Hampshire requires additional resources to support young professionals. This includes improving educational institutions, providing resources for young entrepreneurs, and offering leadership opportunities. It is also important to create spaces for different activities, such as providing larger venues for artists and improving sports spaces. Additionally, creating safer roads for modern transportation and providing affordable housing are necessary for the state’s development.
Do you see yourself living and working in New Hampshire at age 55-plus?
I see myself living in New Hampshire at the age of 55 or older. After years of traveling and living in many different countries, I have come to understand the risks associated with moving. But most importantly, I have loved New Hampshire and have even begun the process of purchasing a house in Concord. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment in Concord for my community and family before making positive changes out into the world to make a difference.
Volunteer activities: Church services (playing piano), helping in organizing for other organizations like Project S.T.O.R.Y. I help organizations with taking videos and editing, and sometimes I work with Concord TV to help them with some of their projects. I am one of One Concord organizers, and ELK (Emerging Leaders Konnection).
Last major achievement: Graduated from 2023 Leadership Greater Concord.
