 A 61-year-old Pelham woman was arrested on aggravated DUI charges after crashing her Lexus into a utility pole late Thursday night.

Pelham police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Old Gage Hill Road about 11:42 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, Denise Winn failed to navigate a left-hand turn, causing her white 2020 Lexus to leave the road and strike a utility pole near Eddy Lane.

Officer Richard Glynn observed signs of impairment and arrested Winn, charging her with aggravated DUI and criminal mischief. 

Winn was released on personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to be arraigned December 9 in Salem District Court.

Utility crews worked overnight to replace the damaged pole.
