Running back Matt Morrison scored five touchdowns, including an 81-yard return of the game's opening kickoff, leading Pinkerton Academy to a 42-7 rout of rival Londonderry in the state Division I championship game on Saturday at Exeter High School.

The victory was the 357th in the career of Astros coach Brian O'Reilly, making him the winningest coach in New Hampshire high school football history. O'Reilly broke the record held by Plymouth Regional's Chuck Lenahan.

Morrison, a senior, broke a tackle on the opening kickoff, then sped down the left sideline for a score before the big crowd had settled in. He added a 25-yard TD catch on a pass from quarterback Aiden McDonald, then scoring runs covering 27, 5 and 5 yards.

Pinkerton, the No. 4 seed in the playoffs, led 21-7 at halftime.

Londonderry, the No. 3 seed, scored in the first quarter on a 6-yard TD run by quarterback Sam Ogden.
