Winter Holiday Stroll set for Saturday
NASHUA — The 29th edition of Nashua’s Winter Holiday Stroll is Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m.
The Great American Downtown-sponsored event has become a must-go activity for plenty of Greater Nashua residents.
The stroll steps off from City Hall Plaza, led by Santa and Mrs. Claus, at 5 p.m.
The tree lighting ceremony is at 5:45 p.m.
Then you can explore downtown Nashua and its many food, drink and entertainment venues.
Also at the stroll: photos with Santa and ice sculptors.

Castle in the Clouds holds holiday event
MOULTONBOROUGH — Castle in the Clouds, 455 Old Mountain Road, invites guests to its annual “Christmas at the Castle: Home for the Holidays” event, happening this weekend and next on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tour the elegantly decorated historic Lucknow Mansion, enjoy holiday shopping at the Artisan Fair in the Carriage House, savor hot cocoa and holiday treats; and even meet Santa.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 5 to 17, and free for children age 4 and under, and can be purchased online or at the door.

‘Frozen’ takes the stage in Portsmouth
PORTSMOUTH — Experience the magic of Broadway when Ogunquit Playhouse presents “Frozen: The Broadway Musical” at The Music Hall Historic Theater, 28 Chestnut St.
The Tony-nominated production opens this weekend, with showtimes on Friday at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 1:30 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday at noon and 5 p.m.

LaBelle Winery hosts ‘Viva Las Elvis’ Christmas show
DERRY — Celebrate the holiday season with “Viva Las Elvis: Christmas in Vegas Concert” at LaBelle Winery, 14 Route 111, on Sunday, with doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the performance beginning at 4 p.m.
The tribute show features award-winning Elvis Presley tribute artist Dan Fontaine, accompanied by the Memphis Sun Mafia Band, performing iconic hits from Elvis’s concert years (1969–1977) as well as holiday classics like “Blue Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland.”
Tickets cost $30 for general admission, $20 for children ages 4-12 and are free for children ages 3 and under.
Attendees also can enjoy wine tastings, dining and the LaBelle Lights outdoor show before the concert for a full festive experience.

Annual Cold Turkey Plunge takes place Saturday
WATERVILLE VALLEY — The 12th annual Cold Turkey Plunge on Saturday at 11 a.m. invites brave “plungers” to take a dip in the icy Corcoran Pond to support Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports.
Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports funds programs for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. It is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through access and instruction in sports and recreation for life.
The plunge will be followed by a visit from Santa in the town square, the village Christmas tree lighting and fireworks.
Participants must raise at least $50, and costumes are highly encouraged.
Efforts will be rewarded with an official Plunge Shirt, and other incentives and goodies.
