Mr. and Mrs. James Lessard of Manchester recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Lessard and the former Mary Bellerose were married on Nov. 7, 1964, at St. Joseph Parish, Lincoln.
The couple have a daughter and son-in-law, Paula-Marie and Jeffrey Passen of Amherst; and two sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred and Denise Lessard of Sanbornton, and Kevin and Shanon Lessard of Holderness. They also have 10 grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Lessard renewed their wedding vows on Saturday, Nov. 8, at St. Joseph Parish in Lincoln, the same parish they were married at 50 years prior. Their children and grandchildren were present. Following the Mass, family members celebrated at Gordi's Fish and Steak House.
As a special gift, a portrait of the children and grandchildren was taken at Achber Studio of Laconia, the same photography studio that took Mr. and Mrs. Lessard's wedding photographs.
Mr. Lessard is retired from the Manchester Police Department.
