What motivates you to give back to your community?
Civic engagement helps cultivate a thriving community. As a public health researcher, I’m trained in data-driven decision making, and I strive to apply that skill to my service work on the Seacoast and throughout New Hampshire.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Some career paths are linear, and others zigzag. Either way, you’ll figure out what next steps are right for you.
What would make New Hampshire more attractive to young professionals?
Expanding housing access. It’s crucial for our state’s growth that we attract and retain young talent, and affordable, reliable and safe housing is critical to achieving this.
Do you see yourself living and working in New Hampshire at age 55-plus?
We’ll see! New Hampshire offers a great quality of life, and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else at this point in time. I lived in South Carolina for four years, but I’m a New Englander (and Granite Stater) at heart.
